Meeting called to order at 9:23PM
29 Brothers Present.
The previous meetings minutes were read and approved.
I. Officer Reports:
A. President:
1. Eric on behalf of the whole chapter congratulated the Zeta class on
making it through third degree.
2. There will be no meeting next week April 24th; the next meeting
will be May 1st. The 2nd PIE session will begin at 7:00pm and the
meeting will be afterwards. The elections for new officers will be held
at the May 1st meeting. The installation of the new officers will be
May 8th.
3. The end of the school year officer reports containing the charges
for the new officers are due at the meeting on May 1st in triplicate.
B. Vice President:
1. Juan made a reminder that the 2nd PIE session is Monday May 1st at
7:00pm in a room to be announced.
C. Corresponding Secretary: Nothing
D. Treasurer:
1. Mike Roseman gave a donation for the chapter for the sum of $697 to
us.
2. Chapter letters hats and shirts are still for sale, if interested
contact Nick. The order that was made for chapter letters has not yet
arrived.
E. Recording Secretary: Nothing
F. Historian:
1. Eudora passed around the scrapbook, which was updated with pictures
form districts.
2. The family trees have been updated, and will be posted on the web
page soon.
G. Alumni Secretary: Nothing
H. Parliamentarian: Nothing
I. Everyone else: Nothing
II. Committee Reports:
A. Social Individual: Nothing
B. Fundraising: Nothing
C. Service:
1. There was a sign-up sheet for Donegon being passed around, for a
group going to Donegon this Wednesday April 26th.
D. Precincts: Nothing
E. Jurisdiction: Nothing
F. MEP: Nothing
G. 5th Anniversary: Nothing
H. Awards:
1. The awards committee meets and set a purpose for the committee and
a list of task for the committee to do. The purpose of the committee
is, "To aid and inform Kappa Gamma regarding various National and
District awards, and to create Kappa Gamma awards and set guidelines
concerning eligibility for those awards." The task of the committee has
been set to be, "Compile and distribute list of awards form National and
District levels. Compile and complete all chapter award applications.
Create Kappa Gamma awards and set guidelines concerning eligibility for
each award. Decide upon time of distribution of Kappa Gamma awards.
Recommend that the chapter President and the chapter Corresponding
Secretary be active members of the awards committee."
2. If anyone else wants to be part of the committee contact Nick.
III. Old Business:
A. Nominations for elections were made. The nominees are: for
Parliamentarian Lauren Garlett, Brian Green, and Michelle Judd; for
Historian Heather Belaus, Kitti Lewis, and Eudora Weaver; for Alumni
Secretary Chris Argal, Mike Dammer, and Keith Dombrowski; for
Corresponding Secretary Jeff Andrews and Heather Belaus; for Recording
Secretary Jeff Andrews, Lauren Garlett, Brian Green, Nate Hunsinger, and
Michelle Judd; for Treasurer Nick Cirilli and Kitti Lewis; for Vice
President Juan Hernandez, Nate Hunsinger, and Michelle Judd; and for
President Nick Cirilli, Keith Dombrowski, Juan Hernandez, and Eudora
Weaver.
IV. New Business:
A. The Kappa chapter at Kutztown University has invited us to a Cinco
De Mayo dance party on May 5-6th, and they have also invited us to play
with their pep band at Dorney park, which would mean free admission to
the park. If you want to go to any of these activities contact Rob by
Wednesday night April 19th.
B. Michelle wanted to see all the members of the Epsilon class after
the meeting.
C. For the Zeta's picnic on April 29th, they have had a response form
Kutztown, and please RSVP soon, contact Lauren or Heather.
