From: Nate HunsingerMeeting called to order at 8:43PM, Monday, May 1, 2000 33 Brothers Present. The previous meetings minutes were read and approved. I. Officer Reports: A. President: 1. Eric had new editions of the Podium available to be picked up. 2. The last meeting of the semester is next week Monday May 8th. B. Vice President: 1. Juan made a reminder that the 3rd PIE session is Sunday May 7th at 7:00pm in Zoelner 345. C. Treasurer: 1. The order of shirts has arrived; see Nick to pick them up. E. Recording Secretary: Nothing F. Corresponding Secretary: 1. Rob wrote another correspondence letter, he will post it and take any suggestions. The letter will be mailed by the end of the week. G. Historian: 1. Eudora passes around a roster for the chapter, to make sure all the names are spelled right for the composite. 2. The composite pictures will be taken on Friday morning May 5th form 10 am - 12 am in the University Center room 408. A sign up sheet for individual pictures was being passed around. The cost is $25 in the form of a check payable to "Christmas City Studios". Eudora also asked that women wear light colors, and men wear a jacket and tie. H. Alumni Secretary: Nothing I. Parliamentarian: Nothing II. Committee Reports: A. Social Individual: Nothing B. Fundraising: Nothing C. Service: Nothing D. Precincts: 1. Kate asked for suggestions of a place to put the precincts banner in Zoelner. 2. T-shirts were available for $8, and are going into storage in the score library after the meeting. E. Jurisdiction: Nothing F. MEP: Nothing G. 5th Anniversary: Nothing H. Awards: 1. There will be awards handed out this semester at the last meeting. III. Old Business: A. The end of the year Officer and Committee Chair reports were read, and then handed into the Recording Secretary. IV. New Business: A. The Cinco de Mayo party at Kutztown is still on but the pep band thing at Dorney Park has been canceled. B. Heather gave a big thank you to everyone that came to the picnic, and if you still owe money see Lauren or Heather. C. Elections were held: 1. A motion was made to limit speeches to 2 minutes a candidate, except for president and vice president in which the speeches will be 5 minutes. The motion passed. 2. A motion was made to limit discussion on a position to 5 minutes per position. The motion passed. 3. The nominees for President were Nick Cirilli, Dave Guzas, and Eudora Weaver. Eudora Weaver was elected president. 4. The nominees for Vice President were Juan Hernandez, Nate Hunsinger, and Michelle Judd. There was a run-off election between Juan and Michelle, and Michelle Judd was elected as the Vice President. 5. The nominees for Treasurer were Nick Cirilli and Kitti Lewis, and Nick Cirilli was elected as the Treasurer. 6. The nominees for Recording Secretary were Nate Hunsinger and Chris Noon; Nate Hunsinger was elected as the Recording Secretary. 7. A motion to take a 2 minute recess was passed, meeting resumed at 11:12 pm. 8. The nominees for Corresponding Secretary were Jeff Andrews, Heather Belaus, and Juan Hernandez. Jeff Andrews was elected as the Corresponding Secretary. 9. The nominees for Alumni Secretary were Chris Argal, Mike Dammer, and Keith Dombrowski. Keith Dombrowski was elected as the Alumni Secretary. 10. The nominees for Historian were Rachel Goodman, Dave Guzas, Kitti Lewis, and Chris Noon. Rachel Goodman was elected as the Historian. 11. The nominees for Parliamentarian were Lauren Garlett Brian Green, and Kitti Lewis. Kitti Lewis was elected as the Parliamentarian.
