Meeting called to order at 7:30PM
26 Brothers Present.
The previous meetings minutes were read and approved.
I. Officer Reports:
A. President:
1. Eudora will be going to a Presidents conference this weekend at the
University of Maryland.
2. Sign-up sheets for all the committees were being passed around, it
is required that every brother has to sign up for at least one
committee.
B. Vice President:
1. Michelle handed out copies of the purposes and the creed of Kappa
Kappa Psi, and asked that everyone read over and think about them.
C. Treasurer:
1. Chapter Dues will be need to handed in soon the exact amount is not
known right now.
2. Nick is taking orders for shirts and other paraphernalia see him if
you are interested in ordering anything.
E. Recording Secretary:
1. Information sheets for the chapter phone list were passed around
for everyone to fill out with there new information.
F. Corresponding Secretary:
1. Jeff has photos that will be sent out to the Northeast district
scrapbook on Friday September 1st.
G. Historian: Nothing
H. Alumni Secretary: Nothing
I. Parliamentarian: Nothing
II. Committee Reports:
A. Social Individual:
1. There will be a social committee meeting this Sunday September 3rd
at 3:00pm in 470 Birkel.
B. Fundraising:
1. Heather wants to organize a car wash and the pie in the face
contest as soon as possible. Also she wants to start on the
preparations for the service auction.
2. If you sign up for the Fundraising committee meet with Heather
after the meeting to set up a meeting time.
C. Service: Nothing
D. Precincts: Nothing
E. Jurisdiction: Nothing
F. MEP:
1. Michelle is trying to stir up interest in Kappa Kappa Psi outside
of Marching band by contacting the directors of the Jazz and Wind
Ensembles to get a list of the people registered for the ensembles.
Also she is trying to create a hand out that can be given to the members
of the ensembles when the ensembles are introduced to our fraternity.
2. If you signed up for the MEP committee meet with Michelle after the
meeting to set up a meeting time.
G. Awards: Nothing
III. Old Business:
A. A big thank you was given to everyone who went to Hershey and had
fun during the summer for the chapter day.
IV. New Business:
A. The meeting time for the semester will be Thursdays at 7:30pm in
Zoelner 345.
B. Letter Days will be every Tuesday every week.
Meeting adjourned at 7:44 PM.
