I hope everyone is working hard on their entries for the Poster/Flyer Contest!
Just to make sure you are all clear on the guidelines, I am posting them here.
If you have any questions, please email me (mhj3) or call me (997-5686). I'll
try to help as much as possible.
GUIDELINES:
1. You must work with at least one other Brother.
2. Each group member must be of a different class. (ie. You cannot have a group
with 2 Zetas and 2 Gammas.)
3. Designs must be done on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper in BLACK AND WHITE ONLY.
4. Leave room for the date, time, and location of the information session. That
information will be filled in by the MEP committee once that information has
been established.
5. Good things to mention:
A. Co-ed SERVICE fraternity
B. No hazing
C. Mention bands they can be members of in order to be eligible for
consideration for membership
D. Mention GPA requirement
The deadline for all designs is Thursday, September 14 at the chapter meeting.
Designs will be accepted beforehand (of course!). The submitted designs will
be judged by the members of the MEP committee at the first meeting after the
14th. Winners will be announced at the chapter meeting on Thursday, September
21.
All submitted designs will be printed and hung around campus. The winning
design will be printed and distributed via campus mail to prospective members
(ie. members of Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Jazz Ensemble, and
Symphonic Band).
The members of the winning group will receive FREE Precinct t-shirts and pizza
and soda on me. If you're not using this contest as an opportunity to work
with fellow Brothers on a project that will introduce prospective members to the
fraternity, than use the contest as an opportunity for a FREE shirt and a FREE
meal.
