Meeting called to order at 7:30PM
26 Brothers Present.
The previous meetings minutes were read and approved.
I. Officer Reports:
A. President:
1. Chapters Dues are $60 they are due by September 21st, in the form
of a check made out to Lehigh University. Late Fees will be charge if
the Dues are hand in after the due date.
2. Eudora asked that everyone go to committee meetings, and let the
committee chairs know if you cannot make it.
B. Vice President:
1. Michelle is looking for updated email addresses for all of our
chapter's alumni. Emails will be sent out to the whole chapter
concerning the info sessions.
C. Treasurer:
1. Letters have been ordered; the final order will be going out on
Friday September 22nd. See Nick if you are interested.
D. Recording Secretary: Nothing
E. Corresponding Secretary: Nothing
F. Historian: Nothing
G. Alumni Secretary: Nothing
H. Parliamentarian:
1. Kitti passed out possible amendments to the chapter constitution
concerning requirements for each brother to complete 2 service and two
social projects per semester. Voting on these amendments will be at
next week meeting on September 28th. If the changes are accepted they
will not go into affect till the spring semester.
II. Committee Reports:
A. Social Individual:
1. If you want to go to Lock Haven let Juan know. The banquet is this
Saturday September 23rd the cost is $17.00 in the form of a check to
Kappa Kappa Psi, Eta Alpha Chapter.
2. Juan is interested in organizing something with the Towson chapter,
since our football game is there during pacing break weekend.
3. Rachel is organizing a pool and ping-pong tournament.
4. Ultimate Frisbee will be on Sunday October 22nd.
5. The social committee meeting will be held after the brotherhood
meeting.
B. Fundraising:
1. The Car Wash will be this Sunday October 1st from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
2. The bookstore is interested in us selling items at wrestling meets
and basketball games.
3. The next meeting is Monday September 25th in Brodhead room 204.
C. Service:
1. Wendy Thompson from the childcare center suggested that we create
some kind of curriculum for the little pre-schoolers. The first date
for going to the childcare center will be Wednesday October 4th.
2. Broughal will be this Wednesday September 27th from 3:00pm to
4:00pm, a sheet was passed around to sign up, and follow up emails will
be sent to those people that sign up.
3. There was a response from the music library with service projects
that we can do there. When project times are known the chapter will be
notified.
D. Jurisdiction: Nothing
E. MEP:
1. Both poster submitted for the contest won, and will be circulated.
2. If you want to be a Big put your name on the list that is being
passed around.
3. The next meeting will be Monday October 2nd at 7:00pm in 473
Montclair Avenue.
F. Awards: Nothing
III. Old Business: Nothing
