Meeting called to order at 7:32PM
23 Brothers Present.
The previous meetings minutes were read and approved.
I. Officer Reports:
A. President: Nothing
B. Vice President:
1. There were 8 marching band members that came to the first info
session. Michelle asked that everyone try to advertise the next info
session to Wind Ensemble members more.
2. The 2nd info session is Wednesday November 1st at 7:00pm in Room
211.
C. Treasurer: Nothing
D. Recording Secretary: Nothing
E. Corresponding Secretary:
1. Jeff read the submissions from our chapter to Northeast Notes and
the Podium, and took some suggestion on the articles.
F. Historian: Nothing
G. Alumni Secretary: Nothing
H. Parliamentarian:
1. The Constitution and the By-Laws have been put up on the web page.
Please read them over before PIE session number 2.
II. Committee Reports:
A. Social Individual:
1. We are co-hosting a Halloween party on Monday October 30th at
9:30pm in room 143 in Zoellner. Where a costume and have fun.
B. Fundraising:
1. A final list of the services for the service auction was passed
around. The Service Auction is on October 29th, at 5:30pm in the black
box theater. All Services must be submitted by the meeting on October
19th.
C. Service:
1. A group went to Broughal on October 25th, but no kids were there.
The next trip to Broughal will be November 8th.
2. The Fables and Folklore Concert is Saturday October 28th, a sign up
sheet for ushering was passed around.
3. A sign up sheet for the Jazz concert on November 3rd was passed
around.
D. Jurisdiction: Nothing
E. MEP:
1. The meeting for Bigs will November 12th at 8:00pm after the PIE
session.
2. The next MEP committee meeting is November 1st before the info
session.
F. Awards:
1. The next Awards committee meeting is Monday October 30th at 4:00pm
in the 3rd floor lobby of Zoellner. The October Brother of the Month
was discussed.
2. All the committee chairs please send their attendance list to Nick
or Leanne.
III. Old Business: Nothing
IV. New Business:
A. Two proposed changes to the By-Laws were passed out; they need to
read over and voted on at the meeting on November 2nd. The changes
concern making sure our constitution is in compliance with university
policies concerning the chapter president and treasurer being
underclassman.
