Brothers, 
At last night's meeting (11/30), I handed out an attendance policy that 
the jurisdiction committee has been working on for quite some time now. 
I briefly went over some points about the policy last night, and I intend 
to discuss/vote on the policy next week (12/7). 
 
If you were not at the meeting last night, please see me for a copy of the 
policy so I can make sure everyone gets one before the vote. If you have 
questions or concerns about the policy, please don't hesitate to email me 
(kml8@lehigh.edu) or call me  (610-997-3963) and I will get back to you 
as soon as possible.  I will also address any questions people may place on 
the Kappa board - but PLEASE remember to keep negatives OFF of the board. 
 
(Just as a note, the policy would go into effect starting NEXT SEMESTER if  
it received the necessary votes to do so.  Also, some concern was 
expressed about the definition of an "excused" absence.  Chapter By-Law 
section 2.7 touches on what an excuse is, and states that it is at the  
discretion of the Recording Secretary and/or President to determine if an 
excuse is granted.) 
 
Just to reiterate, PLEASE come see me for a copy of the policy if you 
didn't receive one at last night's meeting - I will be glad to explain it 
to you.  PLEASE be at next week's meeting to vote!
