Meeting called to order at 9:33PM 
20 Brothers Present. 
The previous meetings minutes were read and approved. 
 
I.	Officer Reports: 
A.	President:   
1.	Brothers will be going to the music library to help sort music on Friday afternoons, from 1:30 to 4:00pm.  If you can, please stop by to help. 
2.	Mike is purchasing tickets to the Tribute to Miles Davis & John Coltrain concert.  The concert is being held on October 20th from 8-10pm, and tickets are $10 apiece.  The last day to order tickets thru Mike is Friday. 
  
B.	Vice President: 	Nothing 
C.	Treasurer: 
1.  Today is the last day to pay dues; this year, dues are $60. 
 
E.	Recording Secretary:   
1.	Copies of the chapter phone list were passed around, instead of being sent thru campus mail. 
 
F.	Corresponding Secretary: 
1.  Heather would like to get the newsletter out before Pacing Break.  Please submit articles to her by October 3rd.  Committee chairs were asked to submit articles and/or to give a potential list of upcoming events that their committees are heading. 
 
G.	Historian:   Nothing 
H.	Alumni Secretary:  
1.	Eudora passed around the new newsletter that will be sent to alumni; the chapter was asked to note any corrections. 
2.	Eudora made up a donation sheet for alumni of our Kappa Kappa Psi chapter. 
3.	Several alumni are thinking about forming a local alumni chapter. 
 
I.	Parliamentarian:  Nothing 
 
II.	Committee Reports: 
A.	Social Individual:   
1.	Ultimate Frisbee will be held this Sunday, September 30th at 2:00pm on Maginnes Lawn. 
2.	The next social committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 3rd at 8:30pm at TP10. 
 
B.	Fundraising:  Nothing   
C.	Service:  
1.	A sign-up sheet was passed around for those brothers able to help usher at Zoellner events. 
2.	At the last service committee meeting, the committee went over ideas for service projects.  It was proposed to have one major service project every month.  October’s service project will be discussed at the next chapter meeting. 
3.	Madhusha is getting in touch with pediatric wards and nursing homes in the area to set up dates for caroling.  We may be caroling at Holy Family Manor more than once. 
 
D.	Jurisdiction: 
1.  When we get the new changes from Nationals, we will update our Constitution and By-Laws.  We will also try to revise the officer duty descriptions. 
 
E.	MEP: 
1.  The deadline for the poster contest is this Sunday by 5:00pm.  Please give submissions to Jeff or another member of the MEP committee.  As stated previously, you must work with at least one other brother on the flyer, entries must be on 8.5” by 11” paper, and there should be room for the date, time, and location of the information sessions.  The winners of the contest will receive pizza and a movie courtesy of Jeff. 
2.  The next MEP committee meeting will be held this Sunday, September 30th at 5:00pm in Brodhead 415.  All are invited to attend. 
 
F.	Awards:   
1.	The first awards committee meeting will be held next Wednesday at 5:00pm at 628 Montclair Ave.  The brother of the month will be voted on at the meeting. 
 
III.	Old Business:  	 
A.  Rhonda's corrected phone number for the phone list is 997-0735.  Ernest’s phone number is 865-2059.
