Meeting called to order at 7:35 pm. 
 
Present: Heather Thomson, Heather Belaus, Lauren Garlett, Mike Dammer, and  
Rachel  Goodman 
 
Old Ideas: 
 
Car Wash:  Will do in the spring.  Everyone is less busy then, and hopefully  
construction by the bookstore will be completed. 
 
Service Auction:  Tentatively scheduled for October 14, which is Alumni Weekend. 
Hopefully lots of alumni will come and spend money. 
 
Bookstore Concessions:  Will try to get a lot of wrestling matches.  They make  
much more money than the basketball games, though I'll try to get a few of those 
too. 
 
Pie in the Face:  Will start soon, assuming execs approve. 
 
MB Calendar:  Will become a 2002 calendar (as opposed to academic year).  Will  
attempt to track down those who promised to write pages. 
 
New Ideas: 
 
Bake Sale:  We will have a bake sale during the car wash.  This has seemed to  
work well for other organizations. 
 
Band Video:  The idea was brought up to produce and sell the band video as a  
fundraiser.  This idea was rejected on account of it already being a part of the 
marching band.  Also, it wasn't felt that it would raise a lot of money.
