We can suggest Gregory's after Third and see how the vote goes, but >saying that you're going no matter what is not the point of Brotherhood. > I think it important to say that while going out to dine together as a Brotherhood is really great (and the more of the whole Brotherhood, the better), we shouldn't fault any individual or hold it against them for having disparate tastes and going out to eat anywhere else, for I think that would do more to separate us than unite us. Also, while it's good to discuss how we should behave day by day to strengthen the natural Brotherhood that we have as band musicians and members of this Order, let's not resent each other should any one of us choose just to go home and play Solitare after 3rd. I think honoring our own prerogatives as individuals will make the time that we are together and working together towards our common goals more meaningful. I also know that I'm just a candidate, but I already think of all of you as 'we' and hope soon to rightfully be able to call you all my brothers. I hope we all go out together, but let's not get bitter if we don't, and while we all are cut from the same fabric and should all share concern for each other, let's not lose sleep as we choose our different paths. __________________ Brian C.
