Brothers,
     The first meeting of the social committee took place in Campus
Square D304 (Amy's and Sandy's apartment) at 6:30pm on Friday, September
6th.  Amy Meisner, Sandy Narowski, Mike Dammer, Rachel Goodman, Lauren
Garlett, and Josh Eaton were present.
     We discussed the priorities for the year, which included:  planning
at least two events per month, family bonding, getting to know new
people, and returning the traveling paddle to Lock Haven.
     The September Brotherhood event will be an Around the World Potluck
Dinner.  This will be taking place in a little over a week on Sunday,
September 15th, at 7pm at 628 Montclair.  The Around the World Potluck
Dinner includes pairs (triplets) of brothers, grouped by nationalities,
cooking something from the given nationality.  A more detailed email
will be sent to the brothers including the list of pairs, and further
information.
     A brief break was taken to eat dinner, while October events were
thought about.  Then, October events were planned.
     The first October event is an Ethnic Food Night on Friday, October
11th, at 6:30 pm.  This is a closed event for Brothers only.  We will be
meeting in Campus Square parking lot a walking down to Thai Kitchen on
Broadway St.  A head count will be taken closer to the date in order to
make prior reservations.
     The next October event will be an afternoon of Ultimate Frisbee on
Sunday, October 20th, at 2pm on Maginnes Lawn (assuming it's open).
This is an open event and all are welcome.
    Another event that was discussed was a Halloween Party that we'd
like to coordinate with Mustard and Cheese (EJ....).  We're thinking of
holding this event on Friday night, Nov. 1st.  We're trying to come up
with some exciting events, so let us know if you have any ideas.  This
is an event that needs further planning.
     It was suggested that we make a trip to Lock Haven with the new
MCs, so we'll have to do that next semester.
     Other ideas were talked about and suggestions made for further
events.  Let us know if you have any ideas you would like us to
consider.
     The meeting ended at approximately 7:20.
